Account Management
How to Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data in two ways:
- In-app: Open the app and navigate to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
- By email: Send an email to privacy@thryv-fitness.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and your registered email address.
Once processed, all your data — including workout logs, nutrition logs, body measurements, and account credentials — is permanently deleted within 30 days. Backups may retain data for up to 7 additional days before full removal.
How to Request Your Data
You have the right to request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. Email privacy@thryv-fitness.com with the subject line “Data Export Request.” We will respond within 30 days with your data in a machine-readable format.
How to Report a Problem
If you encounter a bug, crash, or unexpected behaviour, please email support@thryv-fitness.com with:
- Your device model and operating system version
- The version of the Thryv app you are using
- A description of the issue and steps to reproduce it
- Screenshots or screen recordings if possible
Troubleshooting
The app is crashing or not loading.
1. Close the app completely and reopen it.
2. Make sure you have the latest version installed from the App Store or Google Play.
3. Restart your device.
4. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app (your data is stored in the cloud, so you won't lose anything).
5. Contact support@thryv-fitness.com if the problem continues.
I'm not receiving the password reset email.
My workout data isn't syncing.
The calorie or macro counts seem incorrect.
App Permissions
Thryv requests only the minimum permissions needed to function:
- Internet access: Required to sync your data, authenticate your account, and load nutrition information.
- Notifications (optional): Used to send workout reminders and achievement alerts. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Thryv does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, or any other sensitive device features.
